The platform was developed in-house by Viva Leisure’s technology team. It runs on a purpose-built stack using current industry charging protocols and integrations, including auto charge, which lets compatible vehicles start charging on connection.

Charging is simple. Drivers can tap a credit card at the charger, scan a QR code to pay through a web page, or use the app. Unlike most charging networks, an app is optional. Seamless charging will also be available in the Club Lime app shortly.

Viva eCharge chargers are also listed on major aggregator platforms, including Chargefox, EasyPark and Zuup Roam, so drivers can find and use them through the apps they already have.

Rollout is based on electricity capacity at each site. Close to 10 locations have been identified, with upcoming sites to include DC fast chargers.

Viva eCharge adds value to the member experience and creates an additional revenue stream from existing Viva Leisure locations.
